You Scream,I scream,We Scream Yuls Icecream...

This weekend was a slow weekend for me.

Went to Yuls for Dinner.

the icecream there is to die for,

i had:

Tiramisu icecream

Then we had dinner and i had chips and a buger, they have the best beef burgers i have had so far in mombasa.

What is dinner without dessert, so i had Lemon icecream and Chocolate and Cookies Icecream. now this is heaven.

Yuls is a very tourist oriented joint but excellent food and its by the beach so the sea water and air feels good especially at night, and the view is breath taking definately worth another visit.

My Love of Shawarma

Online pic of a guy making Shawarma

Now lets talk about food, lol.

Shawarma is a little piece of heaven, right here on Earth.

There is this Lebanese guy down the road from where I work, he opened from 3pm to when his stock lasts.

Now chicken Shawarma is this Lebanese specialty, people will pass tarbush to the guy in the yellow converted pickup with a Shawarma machine selling hot shawarma’s with the best pita bread.

Shawarma in Pita Bread ; Google images

Now i love my Shawarma with no garnishes, just the flavoured chicken and the pita bread with ketchup. wow thats heaven. he charges like 200kshs - approx 2.50$

. Tarbush..........

What is Shawarma?

Shawarma is thinly sliced cuts of meat, like chicken, beef, goat, lamb, and sometimes turkey, rolled into a large piece of pita bread that has been steamed or heated. Inside the pita, foods like pickles, vegetables, and even french fries are added.

Think of Shawarma as a taco or burrito Middle Eastern style
.

Look me up in when you come to my neck of the woods and i will treay you to this delicacy........... i promise.
